If I could figure it out,
you can too.

And when you do,
you can teach your kids.

I didn’t grow up knowing everything about money. Honestly, we just didn’t have a lot of it. I learned about watching my spending and prioritizing expenses—because that’s what had to be done.

As an adult, managing a household meant budgeting, saving, and making financial decisions with real-life consequences. I didn’t have a finance degree or a clear road map.

Somewhere along the way, I realized that I could actually learn these seemingly complex financial skills. Now, I’m managing our money and teaching those same concepts to my two young kids.

Money shouldn’t feel confusing or intimidating. I want to help you build the skills you need to manage your household finances and raise money-smart kids.

I’m a certified teacher with more than a decade of classroom experience helping middle school students build essential academic and life skills. I’m also a financial writer and everyday household budgeter. Teaching and breaking down big ideas into practical steps is what I do.

I founded Let’s Make It Grow to give parents simple tools for building financial confidence at home.
