More About Me…
I’m a financial educator, middle school teacher, and mom of two.
But, I didn't grow up knowing much about money. Honestly, we just didn't have a lot of it, so I learned to watch my spending and how to stretch a budget.
Then, as an adult, managing my household meant making financial decisions with real consequences—paying off debt ($330K in 4.5 years!), budgeting, and saving for our future. I was researching, reading, and just trying to figure it out as I went.
With time, I realized that those seemingly complex financial skills were actually learnable. I'm managing my money with a more confidence now, and I’m teaching my kids everything I wish I had learned.
Between my own little boys and the squirrelly tweens in my classroom, I’m a bit of an expert at making complicated (and sometimes boring!) topics easy to understand. I really believe that money shouldn't feel confusing or intimidating. I founded Let’s Make it Grow to help parents build the skills to give their kids a strong starting point.
